The Boston MPO
Interactive Mapping web pages make available
map-linked information (geographic information system, or GIS) on the
Boston-region
and, in some instances, statewide transportation infrastructure. The
Central
Transportation Planning Staff has compiled this information and
has developed these
thematic GIS maps as planning tools for use by municipal officials,
planners,
engineers, and other members of the public.
The maps are designed to provide information about a
particular topic, such as projects in the Transportation Improvement
Program,
crashes, or traffic counts.
