Boston Metropolitan Planning Organization
Suburban Mobility Program
In 2008, the Boston Region Metropolitan Planning Organization will make available $650,000 with the
intention of funding multiple Suburban Mobility Program projects. The purpose of the program is to
address transportation needs in areas that are currently not served or underserved by transit. This
program is in its third year and the MPO is now initiating outreach to encourage eligible entities
to develop projects and apply for project funding. Please review the "How to Apply/Eligibility"
link (at left) for additional instructions on how to apply, including a list of eligible projects and
applicants.
