Traffic Volume Counts
The interactive map has been built to be accessible
only using Internet Explorer 5 or higher, Netscape Navigator 6 or
higher, Mozilla 1 or higher, or Firefox 1.5 or higher. For some tasks, the map
may respond slowly. If the animated graphic "Loading Data..." or
"Loading Map..." appears, be patient! You must wait for the map to
respond before you can start a new task.
In general the interface is a simple point and click interface, with prompts provided either in static text, or in dynamic text that appears when you roll over an item you are curious about. Below are a few common tasks that you might wish to perform. Click the link to pop up step-by-step instructions for each task.

- Find the average daily traffic (ADT) in a given year for locations in a given town
- Find out where along a certain route traffic counts have been collected
- Find out information on traffic counts collected at a location I select with my mouse
- Print a version of the map I can see on the screen
- Print a version of the data table I can see at the bottom of the screen
- Get
locations of traffic counts to use in my own geographic information
system (GIS)
These traffic count Web pages and data were
last updated in May 2006. The MPO does not warrant the accuracy of the
count data, which was collected by other agencies and is made
available on this Web site with their permission.
