The following resources may be of help to those
looking for additional information on the MPO traffic counts or for other
traffic count sources.

The Massachusetts
Highway Department is the source of most of the traffic counts that
the MPO warehouses. Their Web page describes their collection program in
detail and offers additional data such as seasonal adjustment factors.
The Massachusetts
Environmental Policy Act Office maintains a library of environmental
impact reports (EIRs) filed for significant construction projects per
the requirements of the Act. These reports may contain traffic
counts. An index of reports indicating whether traffic counts are
included is searchable online.
These traffic count Web pages and data were
last updated in May 2006. The MPO does not warrant the accuracy of the
count data, which was collected by other agencies and is made
available on this Web site with their permission.
